Change in property ownership

If the owner of the property changes, Haminan Vesi must be notified with following information:

• water meter reading on the day of change of ownership
• seller’s new address
• copy of the deed of sale

Accepting the change of the water connection owner requires that all the water fees have been paid, other terms of the contract have been taken into consideration or the buyer has agreed to be responsible for all the obligations.

After the change has been accepted, contract documents will be sent to the new owner in duplicate by mail for signing. One signed document has to be returned to Haminan Vesi.

Haminan Vesi does not transfer billing for water to tenants.
